He gave me a second cortisone injection, surgical release on my deQuervain’s thumb, Rx for OT for additional problems in that hand. Terrific interaction, he answered my questions clearly and succinctly without talking down to me, was on time or early!! Office and billing staff also excellent. Best MD experience of any sort!

I have been very happy with the treatment received from Ortho Virginia, especially from Dr. Thomas. He is always willing to listen and answer your questions in a confident and professional manner. I have always found the staffing at the Springfield location to be very efficient, friendly and helpful especially during this pandemic. Their professional attitude is outstanding. Dr. Thomas performed surgery on my right thumb joint in 2018. It has held up well despite heavy use. We are currently working on tendon pain. He is clear, attentive and definitely needed in this region. The staff are smart, capable and kind.
Lots of doctor’s have important experience and knowledge and Dr. Peter Thomas definitely has these qualities. Dr. Thomas also has something a lot of other doctor’s don’t and that’s a great bedside manner and incredibly efficient and friendly staff. He was a genuinely nice guy, knew exactly what he was doing and I never spent more than two minutes waiting. Whether it was for X-rays, getting my cast on/off or getting seen by Dr. Thomas, that office did a great job at moving things along. Highly recommended!!
Dr. Thomas has an extraordinary bedside manner, is very knowledgeable, and an excellent surgeon. I would absolutely recommend him to someone with finger, hand, elbow, or arm pain.
Great experience with Dr Thomas. He is very nice, professional and seems incredibly knowledgeable about the hand. He treated my daughters ligament tear...he was friendly, patiently explained her injury, his recommended treatment and worked to ensure she was completely healed. We felt great with our visits.
Particularly attentive to my underlying conditions In relation to surgery (pre and post op). Provided many opportunities for questions. Pleasant, knowledgeable and patient centric.
