Dr. Novak was very good to explain what surgery he was going to do and what the recovery would be like. His assistant was very helpful through the entire process as well.
An incredible physician and person and best orthopedic surgeon I have come in contact with! Fixed my hips and shoulder and am back climbing, trekking to Everest, backcountry skiing and cycling! (He does all these activities as well so appreciates an older guy's need to keep on moving!)
I met Dr Novak when I was unable to find a surgeon here on Maui to repair my injured shoulder. A friend recommended him, and my experience was incredibly positive. Not only is he a tremendously talented surgeon, he's also a kind and generous person. The appointment was made, and surgery performed in less than a week, and that included a 6 thousand mile round trip. Following rehab, my shoulder is painless, has a larger range of motion and more strength than it had for years. A GREAT DOC!
