Dr. Novak is an excellent surgeon and spends time with the patient. He does not push any treatment on the patient and says your body will tell you when treatment is needed. He tells you what treatment should be done and then lets you make the decision for the appropriate time to have it done.
Dr. Novak has excellent Bedside manner. He explained the procedure and aftercare in a way that I understood. I would highly recommend Dr. Peter Novak for any orthopedic care you need.
I shattered my tibial plateau, and a friend recommended Peter Novak. I immediately felt confident in him. He was thorough and fully explained all details to me. I liked his no-nonsense approach, encouraging me to continue appropriate activities throughout my healing process.
Dr Novak was wonderful. I was going to another doc that was not listening to me. I finally went to Dr Novak and after listening to me and doing the exam, he determined I needed a hip replacement. So after a year of a non listening dr, I finally had one that listened and after surgery I finally feel better. I would highly recommend Dr Novak to any one that wants a professional that listens.

My second DIRECT anterior approach, minimally invasive [less than 4" incision] total hip from Dr. Novak; nine years after first one, now I have twins! I would give him and St. Marks hospital ten stars if I could! Perfect results, no complications, and I'm fully functioning at 28 days post op, and most discomfort is gone. Feeling reborn!
I like Dr Novak. Down to earth easy to talk to and shows concern. Takes time to answer questions. Surgical experience was excellent as was the follow up. I've refered many patients to him for knee surgery.
