Dr. Rubinstein is very professional, experienced, friendly, honest and does great dental work. He put me at ease, explained procedures, and has great bedside manner. Very polite and respectful. His assistants are very professional and polite as well. He works by appt and there is literally no waiting time which is great. Office is very clean and up to date. If it weren't for Dr. Rubinstein and his staff, I would've had dentures before I was 30. They helped me overcome my phobia and treated the problems I caused by not having regular check-ups and delaying treatment for what should have been minor problems. very friendly and professional staff, reasonable cost, and most importantly high quality, long lasting work.
I saw Dr. Rubinstein for one year after I moved to New York. I had to move on because of a change in my insurance carrier, but I was sad to see him go. The only services I got from Dr. Rubinstein were preventative, but for those the staff were friendly, competent, and didn't try to upsell any extra services.
From Crystal (on staff) to the Dr. everyone is a pleasure. I will return and recommend the office.
I have been a patient of Dr. Rubinstein's for over 30 years. He has always done a terrific job in filling my teeth and saving some that were on shaky ground. I am very happy with my bridges and two implants. One of the implants had to go in at a difficult angle, and Dr. Rubinstein worked closely with the peridontist to get the best result. I first went to Dr. Rubinstein when another dentist botched a relatively bad cavity on a Friday. I was in horrendous pain over the weekend, tearing up constantly, and I called to find a new dentist nearby. Luckily for me, I found Dr. Rubinstein. They took my emergency right away, first thing Monday morning when I called, and fixed me right up. The other dentist had botched the drilling so badly, I ended up needing a root canal. dr. rubinstein is fantastic and so is his hygienist. they are calm, professional, and very skilled. i used to hate going to the dentist but now i just don't.
Dr. Rubinstein was my dentist for 14 years. He was recommended by a friend and I have recommended him to others. He's a very good and thorough dentist. Beware that - if you're not doing a good job on your teeth - he'll let you know! I'd still be seeing him if I still lived or worked in Manhattan. The facilities are not lush, but the staff is friendly and the hygenists are thorough.
