After my experience with Dr. E, I read the negative reviews on Healthgrades and found my experience similar with the addition of me telling him the location of the cancer, but he disregarded my telling him and I now have a scar on my face that was completely unnecessary. I can't agree more that Dr. E has a complete disregard for scarring. Do yourself a favor and leave this Dr. to indigent care.
Dr. Ernstrom is a gifted surgeon in his field. He treated me for melanoma and Mohs surgery. One doesn’t find his level of expertise anywhere else.
Had a Mohs procedure performed by Ehrnstrom for a basal cell. I'd agree with the last - worth going out of state if you need it done. He entered the room and didn't introduce himself let alone say hello. Didn't explain what he was going to do or anything. After analyzing the tissue didn't even say he was going to numb me again...just poked me with the needle. Zero bedside manner. I’d suggest going out of state for Mohs. I had a very small spot, caught early and I have large scar on my nose forever. I was left with open wound. 10 weeks later I have deep scar that will never go away. I felt like I was in a factory. The procedure that left me scarred took 10 mins and cost $2500.00. Very disappointed & unhappy to say the least.
My hubby and I both saw Dr Ehrnstrom and he was very through and we felt he knows his business. Plus he made us laugh. Great office manner.
