Very grateful to have been a patient of Dr. Dirksmeier. He fixed my very nasty L5/S1 herniation with a microdiscectomy and laminotomy. He was knowledgeable and kind, and answered all of my questions before and after the procedure.
It is such a relief to be a patient of Dr. Dirksmeier! He is gentle, thorough, and fully respected my autonomy and decision-making. He is scrupulous in his practice and maintains the highest standards in excellent patient care. Previously as a nurse (myself) caring for his patients, he is great to work with and a sweet, kind person. I could not be more grateful.
Regrettably, since my June 2023 surgery, my back and sciatic pain is worse than ever, with my MRI showing severe foraminal stenosis around L5, and an EMG showing radiculopathy nerve damage. I never should have had a surgery that put me out-of-pocket several thousand dollars and left me worse off.
Everything at this facility was very professionally handled. As for Dr. Dirksmeier, he was the best.
