I wish I would’ve had the surgery sooner with Dr. Derman. I spent several years trying different treatments that did not address the source of my pain. Since the surgery, I’ve been completely pain-free. Thank you, Dr. Derman!
Dr. Derman, saved me from an unneeded spine fusion recommended by 2 other surgeons. When I was told next step was a fusion at the L4-L5 level he looked at all my MRIs and history and said “NO to early not needed” and recommended a non invasive procedure to clean out around the nerve. (Of course each case is different) but his experience was able to see that a different way was possible. I tried it and it worked great. Awesome doctor and surgeon. Exceptional empathy I’d say brilliant emotional IQ. Communicates very well: Listens with high precision and then articulates your pain with clarity. Superb heuristics to solving the complexity of care with concomitant profound professionalism
I am one month out of surgery for Spinal Lumbar, ALIF procedure. My spine is straight now, walking straight and no leg pain, currently attending physical therapy. I highly recommend Dr. Peter Derman to anyone needing back and or spinal treatment.
