I have had the same negative experience with Dr. Chan as all his other workers comp patients. He sent me back to work the next day with extreme pain and numbness (carpal tunnel), after giving me cortisone shots. He originally gave me a 1 pound lifting restriction and a week later full duty. He is obviously taking money from the insurance company without regard to his patients. The nurse case manager saw him more than he saw me with my injuries. A pure evil man that cannot be trusted

I can't give one star, bedside manner is totally disrespectful does not listen to patients issues. I felt like he just assumes. I would not recommend him.

This doctor does not deserve a star. Despite what anyone tells you, this is not the best hand doctor/surgeon in NJ. His poor bedside manner and lack of interest in listening to patient concerns are some of the aspects of his unprofessional conduct during time with patients. This doctor's lacks emotional intelligence and insight hurting his work with understanding needs of patient(s). If you need to see a hand specialist and want a proper assessment and treatment stay far way from Dr. Peter

Went to him for 2nd opinion for WC case he barely looked at me or listened to what was wrong. Says I have to agree with first doctor can't figure it out. Waste of time never will I see him again.

Dishonest and manipulating doctor all for the name of workman comp.I can write a list but i wont waste my time.

I was sent to Dr Chan by insurance company due to a work incident. I had to wait 30 minutes from the appointment time to be seen. When nurse was with me Dr Chan called her out to help him with some computer issues. She never returned. Dr Chan did not spent more than 3 minutes with me and gave me a note to return back to work without restrictions. He didn't consider the x-ray done. When asked about the pain I had he said he could not tell when it would go away, can be 1 day, 1 month or few months

Very hard to work with . Got hurt at work on a Friday and needed surgery. He sent me back to work on a Tuesday even tho I needed to have surgery in one week. After surgery he sent me back to work after 3 days . I needed therapy 3 days a week but he refused to change work restrictions . He only looks out after him and not his patients .
