Dr Luongo is a dedicated and compassionate physician with years of experience and always goes above and beyond to care for his patients. A fine doctor with great staff.
I've been with Dr. Luongo for two decades, and he remains top-flight. He is a keen listener, and does not look to move his patients along without getting a full understanding of their issues, their lifestyles and how they might affect certain conditions, both temporary and chronic. This is not a lazy physician. He will proceed with an abundance of caution when it comes to his patients and take the time to find the best path(s) forward.
I started with this practice in the early 1970's, with Dr. Luongo's father. Both Dr. Peter Luongo and Dr. Theodore Sgambati are excellent physicians. It is a busy practice, but each of them will take the time to interview a patient to determine the proper course of treatment or next steps. My entire family relies on these two doctors. They are knowledgeable, professional and caring in providing medical attention to their patients. The Office Staff has a difficult job and performs well.

Dr. Luongo is an amazing doctor! He is so caring and knowledgeable. I had an issue with a bill and his dedicated manager handled it with ease. They always go above and beyond what is accepted.
Dr Luongo is an excellent doctor. Very knowledgeable and caring. The staff is helpful as well. Had an issue with the billing and the billing department and manager were more than willing to accommodate my needs. Very pleasant.
Dr. Luongo is excellent. He takes time to speak with the me, never rushing out for the next patient. He is personable, asks about family, is genuinely interested in my answers and remembers details from previous conversations. My only complaint is that it's almost impossible to get in touch with his office to make an appointment. Busy signals, voicemail or placed on hold when finally connected. Staff is polite but very busy and rushed.
Dr. Loungo is a caring and knowledgeable physician. However his staff is overwhelmed and patients are overbooked which makes wait time very long...sometimes over 1 hour. His associate doctor who makes most of the hospital visits is curt and disinterested and spends almost no time listening to to a patient's concern. For this reason alone, I can't recommend this practice.
Dr. Luongo takes his time with you to explain all your illnesses in detail and have the best personality as a doctor may have! Great person and so was his father.
