Adequate in a pinch For me, Petco is for the pet owner who doesn't know there's better, and what is out there. The toy selection is poor, and overpriced. I've seen big toys there for $35 that I can get online for $10. The food selection is terrible. 90% of the foods are absolute junk and the good foods (ie Natural Balance) are often difficult to find if in stock, often hidden in the back and under things. These guys are amazing! I went in there last night to return/exchange a product. The manager was awesome. He took the time to explain the product to me and how to make it work more effectively. I could tell he really cared about the customer. He was busy doing something when an employee asked him to assist me, he came over with a smile on his face and didn't act like he was being bothered. A Superstore for Pets! I'd have to say this place has nearly every brand or product imaginable for your dear animal. We do all our pet shopping needs here because they have excellent specials and their pricing is fair. They've even been willing to match prices if a competitor has it cheaper; just bring in their bill. Their location is always clean and aisles are clear. Super friendly manager, Danielle. I think the store is totally getting a bad rap here.. or maybe that its just one of those days, you don't meet with the nicest staff. All the Supplies You Need for your Precious Pet! Petco has all the supplies you need for your pets. Plus they have adoption centers. The sales staff are great and very helfpul. You can tell they really enjoy animals. You can even bring your pets in with you!
Petco I bring my little Sammy Girl here to get her cleaned up and I love it! Word of caution: they do require proof of vaccines before proceeding with any grooming service. Thankfully I had them!
Unhelpful Staff....Assuming you can find them Before writing this we gave Petco 3 opportunities to prove my 1st impression wrong. Unfortunately, it appears that they really don't care. While there may be some staff that are helpful and friendly, we did not meet any of them during our 4 different visits. We went to buy a fish.
