I would not come to this store again after the experience we had with one of your employees yesterday. We came to get cat food, and for one reason or the other, the cashier thought it her place to rudely inform us that the food we were getting “is not very good” then continued to argue with me when I explained to her that this is what our veterinarian recommends, and we will continue to feed this food, as she is not a veterinary professional and is therefore not qualified to give us this advice. One of the employees, Chad, is always so helpful and friendly. He goes above and beyond every time my family is at the store to buy feeders for our pets. He engages in conversation while he’s working and never acts rushed or annoyed by counting out 100 crickets at a time! He is an excellent worker and one of the reasons we make the drive to Wausau to shop at this store!
Just bought something from Petco & I had seen a baby husky in front of me the cashier was holding. I made the comment to my husband that it looked like a cat from behind. The cashier, (Elena- I believe is her name) then made the comment to me “wow at least I know what a dog looks like”. I mean really? This is the kind of basic etiquette you have talking to customers?! That’s just rude.

RecommendedOur GSD Layla is enrolled in puppy training with Sarah. The instructor is amazing, she goes above and beyond any expectations we had. Very satisfied
The groomer at Wausau/Rib Mt WI petco couldn't have been any better. Very competent with all aspects of the grooming, she really knew her stuff. Kind to scared dog & anxious owner. Definitely recommend. Good value too.
Groomer was very patient with our senior dog. Trimmed nails gently.
