The store manager is a rude jerk that is off his talked to me like a child. I wish I would’ve got his name so I could report him, he was a heavy set guy with black hair and tattoos and he should definitely be fired
I don’t even talk to my pets the way Bjoern the supposed store manager talked to me. I had a return and it was refused, I remained calm but Bjoern went off yelling & screaming and when i asked for the store’s corporate number he refused. I haven’t had time to look it up & call so I’m posting here 1st but I will be calling them soon
I stopped in to the Petco in Staunton Virginia Friday night to buy some fish for my aquarium. The lady I asked for help refused to sell me fish. She said we were getting a storm Sunday and she didn't want to open the tanks to lose the heat in case their power went out. I kind of get it but from Friday night to Sunday night should be enough time for the tanks to heat backup. I think the real reason is she just didn't want to help me. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Customer service was AWFUL. The salon manager in the Opelika, Alabama store so SO RUDE. Her demeanor from the time me and my dad walked in the door with our puppy.. was completely off and stank. You could tell she wanted nothing to do with us. So short tempered and straight to the point without helping us resolve a problem or possibly rescheduling. RecommendedI go to petco solely for the aquatic section, and the Avon one is by far the best available. Their fish are very well taken care of, the plants look healthy, and the workers there know what they’re talking about! There is always one worker there by the tanks, I don’t know his name, but he is very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I buy all my tank plants from Avon petco because of how well taken care of it all is
