my daughter saved up and bought 2 Guinea pigs july 5th. one passed away today August 11th and because its just over a month they wont help her get another one. very disappointed in the uncaring customer service rep I talked to. will be going elsewhere from now on.

I'm very upset how Petco treats some of their reptiles. I went inside for the first time in years, and I couldn't help but notice that the baby bearded dragon aquarium was full of shit, no food, and a dirty water dish... Same thing with the leopard geckos, except the geckos didn't have a hiding rock only something half-assed... Have been here twice and absolutely loved it, just bought a bearded dragon and the habitat to go with it, Cody was very helpful and informative, didn't seem irritated with our 3 kids (2,3,7) running around and happily answered all the questions we had as well as giving us his own personnel experience and what he has had for his dragon. Even tried to find us the online price, to see if it was cheaper, for everything we had bought.
Ok Petco employee- I understand that you didn't want my kids to bring home fish and have them die (because their tank is not ready with water), but you explained it to us, we discussed it, told you we still wanted to get a few fish, and then you walk back with my older 3 to get them while i hung in an isle with my younger 2. The next thing i see is my 9 year in tears because you told them again that they should wait to get them and that they needed a new tank. Geez just sell them a couple fish! Rant over.
