Ordered thru Petco for same day delivery of dog food. Apparently this service is offered through Door Dash. I have the Door Dash app but nothing is linked through my phone number, name, account or anything. Door Dash shows up.. her name is Isabella. Attempts to drop off my order except it is NOT my order. idk who takes care of the reptiles of this store but they need to be fired... leopard geckos looked malnourished and are being cohabed not even knowing if they are male or female and that's a no no and are not kept in an appropriate enclosure even for being a chain pet store, snakes being cohabed in enclosures and chameleons that look to be stuck in shed. if I could have saved them all I would have! but I did make a report to local animal enforcement because this store does n… See more

I give Petco two thumbs up and recommend everyone to go there for all your pets needs! Great prices and always have stuff in stock! Helpful staff in the Ames Iowa store! Great pet grooming department as well!
RecommendedWe took both of our dogs there for grooming services. They both came out with their tails wagging and looking super fresh and clean! The staff was very friendly as well!
What are the rules about adoption? Petco allowed my 19 year old to adopt a cat with no job and she couch surfs at friends. Not a stable home... thanks Petco. (Irvine CA)
Bad experience with Petco Grooming. Booked bath appts for my twin pugs two weeks ago, confired appts yesterday, arrived today and was told they had texted me to cancel and I confirmed the cancellation. Nope. Clerk was unfriendly and made no effort toward a solution, only repeatedly told me they had cancelled and then gave me lame excuses. “I’m the only one here.” “There was a glitch in the system.” I won’t go back.
