RecommendedThe store is always clean, and well stocked. The fish, reptiles and rodents are all well cared for. But it’s the staff that make it great. So I was causally looking at the aquatic plants, and frantically saw a tiny plant going over the filtration system. So I kindly grabbed it and put it so it wouldn't be destroyed. Shame on meeeee. This location is riddled with problems. If I could give negative stars, I would.First problem I had was with a same day delivery item. I was delivered the wrong size kennel for my dog. It took the phone rep a good 45 minutes to come up with a solution which was to bring the kennel back to the store and swap it out. RecommendedMy Elsa and I love the Moline Petco! My only request, and it is an odd one, is that you carry more purple tennis balls. Seriously. For some reason that is the only color Elsa like to play with and it is very hit and miss and I have either had to order on the website and pay shipping or go over to Davenport.
I asked my mom to go get two feeder mice for my snake ( i only asked her because im stuck at home with the baby) so because she had so much going on with my grandmothers treatment this morning she calls the store number asking in advance if they have the mice so she didnt waste a trip. She then gets there and they didnt have any, and apparently didnt for a while, so they had no idea why the associate who answered would say it. But they need to get on the same page. My mom just wasted a trip with my grandmother in the car .
This store has really bad customer service. Every time I come in here there is a problem. They always seem to be out lot stock and the staff is always completely disinterested in helping he locate the items. I am always told to just buy it online. If I wanted to buy it online I would have gone to Amazon and not driven to the store. When I ask If it is in stock in another Petco, I am told they can’t look up stock in other stores and my only option is to call myself or just drive from store to store looking for the item. Terrible Service here, management and staff don't know their own policies. Their own policy states 16 weeks or younger require only 2nd set of shots for them to get groomed. My husband took them a day after their 2nd set and was told they couldn't take them because they needed a 3rd set plus the rabies, my husband asked to speak to the manager Kent.
