Petco in Council Bluffs, IA, has horrible customer service. I have been in the store 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Each time I had to wait extended periods of time to get help. today, three staff were standing around talking. I asked if one of the staff could help me, one looked at me, then turned back to the other staff and they continued to chat. I walked out and went to Petsmart. I had friendly customer service immediately and I was out the door with my purchase sooner than I stood around waiting for help.

Awesome staff, very helpful
Our experience at Petco Council Bluffs this past week was nothing short of amazing! Honestly it was the best customer service experience I have ever experienced! Tyler and David were both so helpful, knowledgeable and patient with our children and many questions. The cashiers who checked us out both visits were very friendly as well and were excited for our kids too. I can't thank them enough for making this such a fun experience for our kids getting their 1st pet!
Worst store ever! Handed over two baby iguanas to my daughter for rescue and one is missing an eye, part of its tail and has a broken back foot! Both of them have chemical burns on their body from mite treatment that was not removed in the proper amount of time. They did a horrible job and lied to her about helping with supplies if she took them in! I would caution anyone from shopping there!!!!
The staff at this store are awesome !!! Lots of good items available
