We love Pet Paradise! We have bought a kitten, many fish, supplies, snakes, tree frogs, and more from them. Scott really knows his stuff about everything! We will always go there for everything we need! Love Scott and the crew!
I'm very disappointed this business sold a sick puppy (Friday 4-1-16) to a college student to live in a dorm room. I ask about their refund policy and they replied they did not give refunds due to health reasons. My son was NOT given shot records so we stopped the next day and they gave him a post it note with 2 dates on it and refused to give my husband something on letterhead. Total abuse to hermit crabs! I feel so bad for them.
WARNING INCORRECT HOMES FOR HERMT CRABS DO NOT BUY
They do NOT HAVE proper housing for their hermit crabs. They are in fact slowly killing them. Hermit crabs have modified gills which require humidity within their enclosure to be able to properly breathe so with the habitats that they have provided for them they are actually slowly suffocating them. Painted shells are also toxic for them as well.
The conditions of the hermit crab enclosure are sad. Hermit crabs need to have high humidity to breathe and also temperatures in the low 80s. They also need a glass enclosure, as a wire cage will not hold in heat and humidity properly. Painted shells are a no because they can chip and the crabs eat the paint which is very toxic to them. Without proper conditions they won't live long.
Very friendly. Answered all questions. Very knowledgeable about all animals and product. Would recommend them to anyone. Walked in there wanting fish walked out with fish and a hedgehog. Good people as well.
