Normally I have had good service here, but due to a schedule issue on my part and having to spend all my down time dealing with a death in my family. I was unable to ger my pet into the clinic when they wanted me too, and I needed an insulin refill. So instead of working with me-I was sent a text message to " saying due to our most recent interaction we will no longer be able to continue your care here." Instead of a manger calling me- I got a text. This clinic is OK until you have an issue.
My dog had emergency surgery elsewhere over the weekend and I did his follow up care today with Pet Medical Center and the experience was amazing. The tech, Heather, and Dr. Kontogianis made me feel seen and heard and genuinely cared for. After a such a scary experience and a nerve wracking healing process after this surgery, having knowledgeable and caring providers be there for you is so valuable. We just had puppies!!! 7 all together! So grateful they are all healthy! No thanks to pet medical center of pasco. Our dog had gone into labor and had already pushed out two puppies by the time we arrived. Everything was going pretty well. We have just never done this before so we were curious if we should have tied the umbilical cord at all. Update- they replied to me and lied. No one clarified to me the amount of time the shot would last or the pricing before I got the one year vaccination shot. (Pricing wasnt even the issue) I didn't start to cry until after they gave the shot to my cat- Then- after the shot was given- they told me it would only be good for one year. So wow. & I have a no tolerance policy too. I don't go places that lie.
