Great cat groomer – Helen does an extraordinary job taking care of my cat, Samantha?s grooming. She is so gentle with Sam and takes great care and is very patient. My cat is usually very nervous and fearful around strangers but is very comfortable with Helen handling her. I highly recommend The Pet Maven.

At Home Pet Grooming – Helen is the consummate professional. She showed up on time and when top of the line supplies. She spent over an hour and a half tending to my Puppy and the end result was fantastic.

Amazing.... Unbelievably amazing!!!! – We have two Pomeranian puppies, aged 8 and 6 months. We decided to have them professionally groomed for the first time. Though I do comb them everyday, they needed a hair trim as well as a good-looking aspect, as they do show off (already!). Moreover, I could not trim their "tush" nor their ears, let alone the "wee-wee part" without wondering if the Society for animal protection would come into the appartment. Max Is A Movie Star! – Helen is the best! My white, Standard Schnauzer Max, who is so active and is always covered with burrs gets the royal treatment from Helen. Max also has lots of funny skin things happening and Helen is very gentle with him making sure to use the right products and being very careful never to nick him. He gets a really sporty haircut for his active lifestyle. He smells and looks gorgeous and I can tell he feels like a movie star!

Great Pet Grooming – Helen groomed my 21 year old long haired white main coon cat that had not been groomed in over a year and was full of knots. She spend two hours non-stop cutting all the knots out and grooming my cat. She was very professional and excellent with the cat - being able to maintain the cat on a table for almost two hours was something of a miracle. I am profoundly pleased with the work and have asked Helen to please sign me up as a regular customer.

Helen gave my puppy a major makeover! – I took my 4 month old puppy for her first grooming session last week. I choose Helen as I knew it would be difficult to take a puppy to a salon, and her price is reasonable. It was a complete transformation! My pup was a bit nervous at the beginning, but Helen quickly calmed her down. Helen did a fabulous job of cutting nails (which I am the most afraid of!), trimming around the face, and bathing my baby. Professional and excellent groomer! – Helen just came out to our Brooklyn apartment to groom our kitty, Marley. While we were a little apprehensive about having our squirmy little boy groomed, our fears were alleviated as soon as Helen got to work. She handled him very well, while providing him with a very thorough comb-out, dematting, clipping, bath and blowdry.
