Dr DeLong is awesome. It seems like she goes out of her way to find what will work best for me between routines, skills and medication. She really cares and is super responsive to messages when things come up. It’s really nice having an app where I can send her a message and we found a time to meet sooner when I had concerns.
I set up a telephone-based initial consultation with the medical assistant and waited for the appointment. Upon attending this appointment, the assistant confirmed my past medical history (which I had ALREADY SUBMITTED prior to the appointment) and stated the doctor was unable to take patients with recent mental health hospitalizations. Dr DeLong is wonderful. She is extremely knowledgeable and empathetic. Wish I had gone to her sooner to help me find the right combination or medication for my body. I've gone from sleeping 14 hours a day to a normal 8.
Heard good things about Dr. DeLong. However, it'd be nice if Brandy, the person handling the intake appointment, can actually remember to call you. Calling the number listed does nothing since it sends you right to voicemail. Given that this clinic does NOT take many insurances and you're forced to pay out-of-pocket, getting ghosted for the initial appointment doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Wouldn't have bothered leaving a review, but hey, thanks for making me burn PTO for nothing. :)
