Wow, I went to this school k- 6th grade back in the 1970 's now I'm 50 goes way back!!! I had a lot of memories from my early childhood, I was sad when it closed down but am happy it's now being used for the community again!!!

I went to high school at Pershing when it was an alternative school... It was sad to see the school closed down... Its wonderful to see it re-open especially as a community for artists! Looks great!
