I just switched medical groups from Scripps to UCSD Perlman Group so I could see to the specialist I was referred (yay HMOs) but I'm really loving the way this medical group is set up. I established care today- walking distance for all of us Normal Heights and Kensington residents, attentive care, don't feel rushed, and you can get an appointment there ASAP with an RN / PA rather than waiting weeks. I'm looking forward to having my new docs in the hood.
I love Perlman Clinic! Have been going here for years and am so grateful to have found my general practitioner Dr. Henry at the La Mesa clinic. He is compassionate and always takes the time to listen to my concerns. I don’t feel rushed and he has great bedside manner. Dr. Henry’s MA Karla is also wonderful. She is super kind and helpful always. You can get in on short notice which is extremely convenient.
