Slow Sunday Afternoon and we took advantage of it! Our 7th Anniversary was awesome and service was great!!
Our second visit. Food and abide were wonderful. Especially hominy. Remember, you are in West Texas. A true West Texas spot!!
I enjoyed off the regular path. It was nice and country ranch house look and feel of the restaurant. Made Me think I was at someone's Ranch House enjoying a Meal with Friends, Family & Others.
Warning to potential buyer of online purchases. I have been using Perini Ranch for gifts of the Smoked Tenderloins for friends for years. They have an Address book that keeps recipient's addresses for easy reordering. This year there was, evidently, an unknown change in the ZIP Code in one of my recipients. The Tenderloin was shipped and FEDEx contacted the recipient to expect delivery. The delivery was made 4 days past the due time. The most over-hyped, over-priced and underwhelming place I have ever eaten. The rustic decor and cowboy style are uncomfortable and un-inviting, they don't make up for the lack-luster food. Definitely not worth the drive.
Perini Ranch does it right! Excellent rub, apps, drinks, and very rustic, welcoming environment. It's obvious they take pride in the little things that can make or break a dining experience. I make it a point to visit Perini Ranch every time I visit the Abilene area. You should too!
