Great experience. Dr. McCartin explains everything clearly and guides your progress, and provides helpful tips for how to keep your vision in excellent shape when dealing with the strains of the modern world.
Dr. McCartin and the whole team at Visual Processing Institute has changed our lives. We started seeing them because my 8 yr old son, a lover of stories who could sit and listen to me read to him for an hour, refused to read. He would get so upset and angry anytime I asked him to read, even if it was just a couple of words. The treatment is a mind blowing. After getting the therapy it improved considerably and by changing 0.25 on one of the eyes I stopped seeing double. Worth every penny! Dr Kalie is a real deal!
My son did a couple years of vision therapy with Dr. McCartin and her team. She is a highly knowledgeable and caring physician, and good with kids. She is always thorough in her evaluations and clear about what your options are (continue therapy, take a break, etc.) and what the consequences of those options would be. Can I give this more stars? Please? One of my children was referred to vision therapy by a doctor and in scouring the web to find someone, I stumbled upon Dr. Baker and never looked back. After the initial consultation and test, I was blown away by the technology and approach to correcting issues.
