My alternator light came on so I took car in after work. Had to leave overnight to get part on. Next morning car was ready by 9am. Nice friendly staff. Car is working everyone is happy.
Made an appointment for AC check and recharge. Was $100 more than similar places. After it was done, I was told they needed to check the fan and electrical system because it wasn't cooling completely. Another $45 and more time. Had to leave after nearly two hours there. Sigh.
I should not have to wait over 2 hours for an oil change with no other customers ahead of me. So pissed.
Pep Boys had no problem ordering and installing the hitch needed for my 2017 Ford Explorer which would allow me to use my receiver mounted bicycle rack! My dealer had told me an after market receiver would be an installation problem! Sure! Thanks Pep Boys!!
Came in with a replacement part still in plain brown shipping box. They told me it was the wrong part. They never broke the shipping tape and forced me to buy thier part. Also at 4 PM they had NO SERVICE TECHS. Lost my fmaily as customers for life.
Fast, friendly, and got me back on the road.
Absolutely terrible customer service. Booked an appointment online for 7pm (since it said they were open til 8) and got a confirmation email. I get there at 644pm and they say they can't help me because they close at 7. All they had to do was plug a tire... It would have taken a few minutes of their time but instead they chose not too so now I am without a car for the second day in a row. I will never give Pepboys my business again. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.
What a terrible experience! We just moved to the area and were looking for a quality place for oil changes, sadly this is NOT the place. The 30-minute oil change is advertised all over the store, however when we went to pick up our vehicle more than 2 hours after our appointment time, it had not even been moved from the spot we left it in. We made an appointment and showed up a few minutes early, the least someone could have done was call us to let us know that our vehicle wouldn't be ready by the quoted time.
