I made an appointment in person on a Saturday for Friday, then when I showed up for my appointment they informed me I didn’t have one and couldn’t take my vehicle. They even informed me I didn’t need to make an appointment, just bring it in. I stated no I would like to make an appointment because the vehicle getting tires is coming from across the lake. First time i brought my car here for an oil change, they gave my car back saying my taillights were out - when they were 100% not. Told myself I’d never go back to a pep boys. Few years later figured why not just take it for a quick oil change. Only to get my car back with the entire skid plate hanging off. Absolutely ridiculous. Stay away from pep boys.
Recommendedthis pepboys is terrible. lady brought her bmw to the shop I work at cause the pep boys said they couldn't get the lug nuts off. I got them off with no problem. so she went back and they still couldn't get them off and stripped 4 lug nuts on top of it. now I have to do double the work to get these wheels off now cause your mechanics suck. thanks pep boys
RecommendedI was told by another garage that my car needed transmission fluid but they couldn’t add it because they don’t sell it. After trying at least a half a dozen places the guys at Pep Boys saved me! They added the transmission fluid I bought and were so kind and helpful! I will only go to this shop from now on.
Took them almost an 8 hr day to put on 4 tires, I had to walk in 5 min before closing because they didn’t call and I needed my work van. 2 months later and about 1k miles on them there’s a bubble on the sidewall of a tire. Pep boys Service rep on the phone and the cashier at the store claim it’s from impact without even inspecting the tire. Do NOT trust these people at this location. I lost all trust in this company because of the service (not needed) I received. I have been going to this place for some time now for an oil change and tire alignment. a couple of weeks ago I went there for an alignment (I had a 3 year warranty here) because my car was shaking after reaching 60 mph.
