I went to the Pep Boys of Annapolis, auto parts and asked for a break light bulb for my car, I told them my car make and model and apparently they handed me the wrong one because when I tried to installed it on my car, the bulb didn't fit. I took it back to Pep boys of Annapolis and they refused to exchange it because I didn't have a receipt. I told them I didn't have it and that I didn't want my money back just an exchange. RecommendedI received an email advertising car batteries at 25% off in December. I saw online that Pep Boys has two batteries recommended for my make & model. Both were in stock. One was $229 + AAT Charge of $26.20. The other one was $249 + AAT Charge of $26.20. Installation was Free on both batteries. When I called, they quoted me $303 less 25% off and there was an installation charge! What’s up with the huge price difference?
WHAT IS THE POINT OF AN APPOINTMENT? I had a scheduled appointment at 9am to have my new tires put on. I confirmed my appointment two days prior and was told I was all set. I was also told that it should only take about an hour and a half. I arrived at the Annapolis store only to find that the service department did not open until 10am. I made my first appointment with them online to get a car battery changed. I had an email confirmation and called about a question having to due with the appointment. The man who answered the phone said they had no appointments available today- I explained I had a confirmed appointment at this location online and he said he doesn’t know why the system lets customers book appointments when they aren’t available ... My uncle took his car in to get his tires replaced. He waited 5 hours for them to complete the job. They didn’t have the decency to offer his money back while he waited. Instead he had to call their headquarters to be fully reimbursed. I don’t care what the extenuating factors were, there is absolutely no excuse this. Very poor costumer service.

Extremly nice staff!!!! I have an older truck where I have to check all the fluids often. I am only 5 foot, so I usually have to get up on the edge of the truck to reach to check everything. Earlier this week I hurt my leg and was unable to check everything. I went to two different places before praying that pep boys would help me out and check.
