simple flat tire they couldn't fix.
Horrible. Dropped it off for an oil change and inspection. Got a phone call saying that it failed inspection and needed 4 new tires and front brakes to pass. They said it would cost $805. I went bought the brakes myself and went to change them only to find i still had 1/4 inch left. Then i brought it to a tire shop to order the tires and they said these tires should have no issue passing inspection they have plenty of tread.So i called pep boys up and their story changed.… See more

They were quick and thorough, but the prices are pretty high. Average waiting area with Keurig coffee and TV. Never took my name so kept referring to me as my car make and model. Find a good, trustworthy neighborhood mechanic and save Pep Boys for emergency repairs.

With the bitter cold my battery gave up the ghost. Despite the shop being swamped with people and problems I was out in little over an hour. I did make an online appointment before I went by, not sure if this actually shortened my time there but it is worth a shot.
What crooks, went in for a routine inspection and was told the car needed brakes and rotors when they were just replaced. Trying to get customers to spend money on services they don't need.
