Took my car to this location to get 2 tires replaced( run flats and one had a nail). Unfortunately they replaced the wrong tire. Honest mistake. I had to order another tire and have them replace the correct one. There was some discussion over reimbursement for the new tire( even though I was told by previous days employee I would be reimbursed). They needed to determine the wear on the current tire. I have been a loyal customer to Pep Boys for many years. taking my car there for service, my car was stolen when I left it there for repairs. someone broke in and stole keys two cars. the person took my car. the manager of the store do not call me for 10 hours later after my car was missing. they neglected to take care of my car and when I reported it to Pep Boys corporate office, the response to me was their employees were not negligent. New management needed. Service department needs a complete revamp. No accountability and not professional at all.
I don’t understand the point of making an appointment if it’s not gonna be held by pep boys. I had an appointment for 1:30 today to get my oil changed. It was 3:30 and my car hadn’t even made into a bay yet! I asked for my keys and left. Completely unacceptable
Made an appointment to change a headlight bulb. Two hours later still not done.
Worse experience ever. Came in to get a simple basic oil change was told it would be an hr and and a half I was ok with that. Got there at 3:30 and hr and a half later my car was still not done that was around 5:15. Long sorry short car was not ready until 7:00pm 4 hrs to get an oil change never agian.. I'll learn how to do them myself before I come back here.
My Husband took his truck to Pepboys in Bear to have them fix his brakes. They were making a loud noise when he stopped. After 4 hours they called and said nothing was wrong with them. So we went to pick the truck up and it was in the same spot we left it in. Oh and they didn't hear a noise. However when we were on our way home I could hear it over my radio in my car. I wouldn't take my enemies car to these jerks.
I just want to say a big Thank You to the great employees working at this store..They went out of their way to help my Cousin Heather when she had a major problem with her car and lost her brakes on the way to the shore..In this time of tragic events going on in our Country it is good to know decent people still exist and help other out...Thank you all employees for your great deed...Linda Bradley
