Completely dishonest about pricing. I was told one price over the phone for an evaluation, when I picked up my car it was double that. Plus extra fees marked as "miscellaneous".

I hate pep boys i took my truck there to be fix 2 days ago. They ran a diagnostic test they came back and told me one problem was wrong with my car come to find out that was not the problem I paid $398 to get my truck fixed had to bring it back to them for them to tell me it was another problem and it wasn't. IGoogle my problem of my truck they told me it was the idle air control value I went to AutoZone but the park now my truck is running. I would never take my truck back to Pepboys ever again.

I had a 1 pm appointment and arrived a few minutes before hand, I was told there was a 2-3 hour wait time. I was told I would need to come back, the gentleman waiting on me, had a less than pleasant attitude. I asked him if my car would be seen when I came back 3 hours later and he said "We will see if we can get you taken care of". I asked him what was the purpose of making an appointment if I have to wait that long, he said they were backed up and sometimes you have to wait. This is very poor customer service.

After going to Pep Boys for several years and taking my family's other automobiles. I had my brakes done on my 2009 Toyota Corolla. Coming northbound on i-65 on October 13th 2014 I had a catastrophic brake failure and ran into the rear end of another vehicle. I will never ever go back to Pep Boys again.
