I had an appointment for headlights and wiper blades replacement. It was completed in less than an hour which was great. After paying for service and leaving, I checked my vehicle to see if everything was done, & I noticed that the rear wiper blade had not been replaced. It was quickly remedied by service guy Mike with an apology. Luckily I checked before leaving the lot. Every time I go here with an appointment for an oil change I sit for hours! Why does an oil change take so long ?!?! People come and people go and I’m just sitting there.
Surely everyone has different experiences wherever they go, but have never had a problem with Pep Boys in Lansing. Been going to them for years & never had to take it back for something they did wrong. I like them so I will be sticking with them!
Absolutely horrible!! Why do you have appointments !!! I had an appointment for 10:00 am and it's done NOW!! If you have first come first service don't advertise appointment !!
Their wait times are ridiculous. Gave me an appointment for 9a.m. Sat until 11:10 am before they gave me a diagnosis. Then told me another 2 or 3 hours. I should have checked around. Brake service and oil change was $722.99.......NEVER AGAIN
I called today to find out how much it would be for an oil change on my car and to see if I could use the coupon my father gave me. The gentleman answered the phone made me aware that it would be over $80 for an oil change on a Chevy, and that I could not use the $25 off coupon (for a synthetic oil change) I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Call Midas, they are helpful and there regular price is still less then pep boys if you could use the coupon.
Do great work but carry terrible tires that they don't honor warranty wise. I bought defective Definity Tires which were recalled. Never being notified, I Suffered a blowout on the highway & now got a great set of Goodyears. The tires I had didn't even have 25,000 miles on them.
