Run around and shell games are what this Pep Boys team is good at . Called and spoke to parts manager to request a replacement for defective CV axal and after explaining that the reman part was falty and after he verified they had it in stock refused to warranty the part after explaining that the car was needed and that I had proof of purchase from just a few months ago and he could see clearly that it was failure in manufacturing . I was driving on Independence this week in my '04 2500 Chevy and it overheated. I was near a Pep Boys so I turned in, after about an hour or so I was informed my repairs would cost me $1100!!! I was shocked! Called my regular repair shop in Fort Mill (Certified Auto Repair Specialists) and they suggested I have it towed to them so I did. They stayed late and came in early to get my Van repaired so I could get back in business because I work out of my vehicle. BTW the total bill with a $100 towing fee was only $681!!!
