I have nothing but good value at the Hamden store. I use them all the time. Never had a bad experience.
The value is there but customer service and productivity is in the toilet. I had an 8am appointment, first appointment of the day. Now 8:50 and my vehicle was just put on the lift. I come here for the price. But I know its going to be an all day affair for a simple oil change.
NEVER USE Pepboys auto in Hamden!!! I had a flat and townfair is closed on Sundays. I barely made it there. They totally tried to railroad me into 4 tires (907$) for 1 flat and would not put the spare on (told me I needed 140$ tire that will become my spare down the road)....funny thing was that ONCE A MAN CAME DOWN they put on the spare (5$) AND quoted him 200$ LESS for the 4 tires!!!!!!!!! Place is a joke. I bought a 12v fan and tried to return it the next day because it was a pice of junk and they told me they would not give me my money back. Don't ever buy anything from them! They guy in front of me left pissed as well because they wouldn't apply his discount card to a sale priced item. Find another place to shop.
