wait time was off the charts and they did not rotate my tires..... but with a hertz rental I had no choice
They are horrible. Went in and literally all I needed was a replacement inspection sticker ( not an entire inspection) as my windshield cracked and I just got a replacement. I go in and a miserable employee behind the counter told me “ yup I have stickers but I can’t do it today” I said I literally just need a sticker and he grunted and rolls his eyes and says “ listen I cannot do it i have to do all this paperwork and can’t do it “ and was pretty much scolding me. Horrid. I went in on a Friday and scheduled replacement of four tires (in stock) for the following Monday. When I returned for the installation Monday morning at my appointment time, I was told the tires had either been sold or transferred to another store. They told me I'd have to come back another day and they could order the tires. Totally unacceptable after I had planned my morning around the scheduled appointment. I will never go back.
Terrible customer service and "knowledgeable" techs there. Don't waste your time or money at this place.
My daughter and I took the car in to the Cranberry Twp Pa location for an inspection today. She has been a customer there for years and has referred many others. Today all that changed. Her car has been in two minor accidents over two years ago. One put a little hole in the front bumper and there were cracks out from that hole. The last 2 times I got tires & had them mounted, I had a broken belt in one of my tires?, I take it back the next day. I always get, sorry sir,they are balanced & look fine (I see no sign of a broken belt)! After a year of having a vibration. I went to someone else to have my new rims mounted, this guy told me, your 2 front tires have blemishes in them? Pep boys should have seen This!
Had my windshield replaced and needed a replacement inspection sticker. The guy working the service counter was arrogant and unwilling to help. I came in 4 hours before closing and he tried telling me that it was way a more involved process than it actually is. It took the place across the street 20 minutes to do the paperwork and issue the sticker. I've never had good experiences with them in the past and this confirmed I will never be back.
If you enjoy being talked down to and ripped off for being female then Cranberry Pep Boys is the place to go. Not only was I completely overquoted a price in 4 tires (I drive a Fiat, tires are not $200 a piece), I was then refused the warranty when they went completely bald 2 months later. I was told to go ahead and drive my son around with faulty tires on my vehicle because they were unable to do anything.
