Online scheduling is a joke!! 4 hours for an oil change?!? Pep boys will not get my business ANYMORE!!
It's always a daunting thing to take your car in anywhere for service when you're a single woman, but I know I can trust these folks to do right by me. I came in for a new battery after one too many non-start events, and they did not disappoint me. My car was ready in half the time promised, and the cost was less than I'd been advised. This is why I'm happy to visit my local store ~ thanks for being a service provider I can trust.
They need to learn what rotating mass is. They balanced a set of truck tires for me and I went on a 2500+ mile vacation. When i got back the tires are no longer round because of improper balancing. If a rock is stuck in the tread of the tire and you balance it and said rock comes out of the tire or tires are no longer in balance. Basic balancing of a rotating assembly. One of the managers told me that 3oz of rocks dont effect the balance. Humm I or my company will never do business with them again.
2 1/1 hours and tires are still not rotated. Bought a set of tires here and within a week I had a blow out and it tore up my fender well real bad so I had to pay to get that fixed...dent repair and pain. $500.00. Did even get a sorry bout that from them. Will not have repeat business from me.
Took my Yukon in for no brake lights & no A/C. New relay switch & compressor installed. Was told I had a bad battery. Left store only to turn around and go back due to air bag light. Was told it was on because of battery. Left vehicle for them to figure out. Next day was told vehicle was ready but nothing done to fix problem. Commented on Pep Boys web site and get call from Manager. Drop vehicle off again to be checked out. Am called and told it is ready and find out it would cost somewhere around $500.00 to fix it. Took my car in for AC replacement told the battery was bad, so I bought a new one. got home poped the hood there was my old BATTERY dont make me want to trust them!!!! when I brought the car back the sales man wanted to install the new battery because the old one IS BAD.. Had to argue to get money back, now have to take car back because AC not working
