Went in for a $35 oil change and ended up having to spend $200 on all new air filters, an alignment, and to remove a nail from my tire. They told me I needed all these things but never have I ever had to pay $200 when I planned on going in for a simple oil change. I needed the work done and didn’t have the time for somewhere else, but won’t be going back. Pepboys was always are go to car service place. 2 months ago, My husband got his brakes, rotars and a caliper replaced, less than month ago the brakes go out completely while he was driving with our 4 and year old son in the van. He almost hit a Semi-truck!!! So endangering children must be a side effect of the service, right?! So I'm so Angry, but I call pep boys, get the van towed back to the shop. Terrible service. I made an appointment for 4:30, I was on time, when I watched the shop workers stand around for more then 15 minutes and not start on my car I asked the person at the counter why they hadn't started he proceeded to yell at me. He stated that he was to busy to do the paperwork and the tire was not where it was supposed to be.
