Not worth even one star. My wife was transported to the Peoria Post Acute Rehab on 8/29/22, quite possibly the very worst rehab facility in the whole Valley. To say it is abominable would be an understatement. The staff is devoid of caring, the facility is far from clean, the furniture is not only ancient but unsafe, the walls of the room had huge scratches of missing paint–in short, a really awful place. This is unacceptable!!! My sister just received a phone call from the rehab that they found my dad on the floor next to his bed. My dad was transferred to this facility 2 days ago & they refuse to keep him safe. My dad has been in a hospital bed since January 1st & is not at all mobile. He is 82 & has been trying to recover from the effects of Covid. He did not fight this hard to now get this sort of treatment. Peoria Post Acute and Rehab is taking great care of my 101 year old mother. The people are wonderful, the facility is spotlessly clean, and all the services are really helping her with speech and physical therapy. A great place!
R Spencer, I've just completed a 22 day stay after and additional 22 days in the hospital, and entered not able to walk, which greatly increased my anxiety. . Immediately , I was assured that they would do all they could to get me back on my feet, but that would require my full cooperation in therapy. From the first day forward nurse Monica and CNA Zowah were excellent attendees, providing me with an air mattress to prevent bed sores.
