Do NOT stay here. My husband and I booked an Airbnb at this property and were absolutely shocked by what we encountered. For the price we paid, we expected at least a clean and safe environment. Instead, we were greeted by a man who appeared to be homeless and was smoking right inside the building. The stairwell reeked of urine, and the hallways smelled strongly of body odor and garbage. Evidently had roaches on the third floor and never told anyone. Yuck!
Our daughter recently accepted a new position in Indianapolis and needed to secure an apartment on short notice. We went with Penrose after meeting with Madalyn. As others note- rent is very reasonable, maintenance and property management staff are personable and responsive. And, the location is outstanding. Great restaurants, grocer, hardware and more within 7-10 walking distance. Very well equipped fitness center, great community amenities and excellent parking. Highly recommend JC Hart and Penrose on Mass Ave.
