Pulled up to the drive thru in Flora today waited a few minutes, lady said hey, I'll be with you in just a minute, left window we waited about another 5 minutes and drove off this was at 1:00 pm today. Poor service or this location needs to assign someone to the drive thru.
Portions were not weighed but we're just put in the boxes. Dinner boxes barely contained snack sized portions. Staff was nice but food quality was low... Seriously considering not going back myself or taking my family.
We were in town working a Monster Jam show at the Arena. About 14 of us went here on Saturday morning for early lunch. We all ordered a variety of food. Not a single complaint. Everyone loved the food at Penn's. We will definitely return next time in town. Service was great. The Chef came out to greet us as well as the owner. Two thumbs up.
FRIED PICKLES ARE AWESOME. HAD CATFISH AND SHRIMP IT WAS ALL GOOD
When I first got there I thought they were gonna be good. But when I fixed my plate which consisted on shrimp and fish and crab legs I knew otherwise. The shrimp had this funny smell and taste to them. My mother who is a critic thought so as well. The fish was somewhat pink and looked like they have been sitting out all day and they were cold. What can I say? The food on the seafood buffet was excellent. The crab legs tender and juicy. The catfish not over or under cooked. The turnip greens were not overly seasoned. Perfect. The waitresses were absolutely The Best and the BEST SWEET TEA I HAVE EVER HAD.
