I choose not to give any stars. Living at the property in Alexandria has been nothing but hell. I cannot wait until I am able to move. I would not suggest Residence of North Hill to a homeless person. The rental office staff is trash!! They are not friendly and horrible to work with.
Do not move here. Its hard you will struggle they don't help you especially if you are trying to help yourself. They dont anwser the phones or emails never have any information but you better have your rent or you'll be evicted and the next person moves in this isn't the low income you think it is BEWARE. If you are married two parent household MAYBE
Was an employee and resigned because the company has little respect for its residents and prospective residents. They also have failed to pay me for out-of-pocket expenses incurred while I was performing my job. These people are not trustworthy at all. It has now been 5 months and Pennrose has not paid the $250 that they owe to me. Again, I'm glad I chose to leave a company that has no integrity.
I am currently living in a joint public/Pennrose property. I'm not sure what is going on, but there are serious issues with management here. The staff team has turned over completely in the 8 months I've lived here 3 times, at least. I've been accused of not paying my rent (I was able to show proof that I indeed had) on several occasions because Pennrose mixed up my account with that of another tenant. My mother lives in a building for senior citizens that Pennrose manages. My mom had a medical emergency and it took 7 minutes for the EMTs to be able to get to her because the code for the building would not work. My mom was unable to buzz them in. They had to pull the police department and fire department in order to get a master key to enter. When there's a medical emergency, every second counts.
