I was seen by the neurology department for a skin biopsy and was not informed that it was being sent to an out-of-network lab. I had called in prior to my appointment and was told the biopsy would cost $250, but might now be responsible for $11,800 because of this mistake. I have spent hours speaking with a number of Hershey Medical Center representatives who have been very kind but have not been able to resolve this.
