My family and I found some of the nursing staff to be rude and unprofessional. The doctors are awesome.
The place is huge.The care was adequate. Nursing staff, for the most part, are friendly and caring. BUT OMG, too many cooks in the kitchen. There are so many doctors and their "teams", that nothing is very personally geared toward your situation. There is a definite lack of communication. And I had met some of the most arrogant doctors there. I laughed on the way out of there because if I had to choose a tag line for EVERYONE that works there it would be "I don't know". My son was born with one kidney and has had to have several surgerys on it since birth. Dr Decter and his crew are awsome!! He is 10 now and still visits Dr Decter once a yr and he is doing great. I love Hershey medical and Dr Decter. They go above nd beyond to help your child feel at home when staying there. They know and understand the needs of every family. I just can't say enough about our stays. Each and everytime they were there for our family and we are forever grateful!
It's great. The employees are great. Dr. Sundstrom is awesome!
