Staff are exceptional and doctors are beyond qualified and concerned for your health. I do not mind driving two hours to get that kind of healthcare!
Had the best experience and the nurses were great while I had to stay after a Maj surgery
My husband was transferred here to trauma ER by ambulance from Pinnacle in Harrisburg after falling & hitting his head. CT scan at Pinnacle ER showed injury to brain & no neurosurgeons left in Harrisburg if he needed surgery. Trauma team in ER at Hershey took immediate action, more CT scans, etc. Stabilized & moved to ER room. Excellent care. Had his own nurse because of severity of injury. Several visits by multiple neurosurgeons; plastic surgery physicians to assess facial fractures. Was admitted to Neuro ICU that night. I... read more
I just spent two and a half days at Hershey Medical Center for my first surgery ever in 47 years! I had a bit of anxiety not knowing what was going to happen, how I'd react to anesthesia, etc. I was having two large kidney stones removed from my right kidney via Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy! Everyone that I dealt with at HMC were absolutely fabulous, explaining every step, what I could expect to experience with each step of the process, etc. And I can't say enough about the nursing staff that helped me! Was at the Endoscopy Suite 3/29 for a problem that keeps coming back. Always happy with the professional nurses and Doctors.
All the Dr's and staff are so friendly and make us feel like family. They truly care about your treatment plan.
Great Staff. Was in and out of the ED in about 3 hours for my wife.
