I graduated in 1972 and I remember the Creamery between Rec Hall and my dorm in East Halls. One day, while walking back to my dorm room, I stopped in for an ice cream cone. As I am from Honolulu, Hawaii, I was pleasantly surprised to see my personal favorite Macadamia Nut Ice Cream. meh. went in with my family around 5-6pm on a Saturday night in October and it was very crowded..(away game) Ice cream was pretty good? but nothing that stuck out as exceptional. I honestly don't know that I could differentiate it from turkey hill if I needed to. Facility looked very clean so there's that. Staff seemed bothered to be there and a little impatient. Only one size available, and a little on the expensive side. Worth stopping in just because it's been around so long, but for us it didn't live up to the hype.

They have a such a large selection of different flavors of ice cream it makes it hard to make a decision what flavor to get and the ice cream is really good. So if you are ever in the State College area and like ice cream you should stop by the Creamery and find out for yourself why people flock to the Creamery!☺😋
