The doctors and nurses were great throughout the whole experience. They were professional, caring, and took the time to make me feel more comfortable, which I really appreciated given how stressful the situation was. My biggest concern was the cleanliness of the waiting area and bathroom. The floor could have been cleaner, and some of the equipment, including the wheel beds, didn't look as clean as I would have expected. This stood out to me, especially in a surgical setting. My husband had a fall and maybe a seizure. Emts brought him to Penn Presby he was admitted to The Acute Care for Elders (ACE) Unit at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. They did every test imaginable. They kept him in bed without ever walking for 4 days horrible care. The hooked him up to a cathader so the nurses didn’t have to help him to the bathroom. I brought him his computer so he could work but they had him flat on his back so impossible. He had lung cancer with 4 or 5 months to live. He left unable to walk, incontient ... read more
