If I could give zero stars, I would. I came in as self pay for a follow up mammogram and was quoted the wrong price. Although it was acknowledged that I was misquoted, I was still charged $300 additional dollars. Apparently, a mgr named Ron refused to forgive the balance. To add injury to insult, I had the pleasure of overhearing the check in staff discussing the fact that I was uninsured. The lead (Blessie I think) actually said “she still doesn’t have insurance. I was incredibly anxious going in for a diagnostic mammogram, and every single person who helped me was lovely - Maggie who performed my mammogram, Erin who performed my ultrasound, and the radiology fellow who gave me quick results and answered all of my questions very clearly. I have to compliment Maggie especially. I truly cannot praise her highly enough. The medical secretary who answered the phone and the Technician answered all my questions today, 04/08/24. They were wonderfully calm, patient, and knowledgeable. I learned a lot during my conversations with them, especially regarding a allergic reaction I had in the past to gadolinium/MultiHance contrast. I now feel comfortable coming to Penn Radiology for the MRE. Thank you so much for taking the extra time to answer my questions.
