I had a biopsy two weeks ago, and I still do not have the results. They could not determine if the nodule was benign or not. The sampke was sent to some other laboratory. Nobody knows when the results will be back. Just wait until we get them. This is my first time having a biopsy. It is nerve-wracking when they tell you to wait. No one can give an estimate on how long it can take to get rhe results. The check-in and the procedure went well. The staff was excellent. Everything was explained in detail.
Came in for CT scan with contrast. Explained to Joe the nurse and Ingrid the trainee that I have a PET scan (with IV tracer) in a few days, and my left arm is off-limits due to lymph node excision & radiation. My right arm veins were blown the day before by an incompetent phlebotomist, with one vein remaining. Joe said that Ingrid is training to use ultrasound for venous access. I assumed if Ingrid is likely to fail the IV insertion he would insert the IV himself, given my explanation of the vein situation. Ingrid messed aro... read more
