John Carl Flamma is a classic doctor: one who shakes your hand then ignores you so the techs and nurses can do actual work. I came in with an branch ocular occlusion, was asked no question about my general health, and was given no prescription. In fact, he laughed when I asked if there was anything that could help restore my vision fully. I learned later from the Penn website that corticosteriods can remove the blockage if prescribed early enough in cases like mine.
