My husband had a fall and maybe a seizure. Emts brought him to Penn Presby he was admitted to The Acute Care for Elders (ACE) Unit at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. They did every test imaginable. They kept him in bed without ever walking for 4 days horrible care. The hooked him up to a cathader so the nurses didn’t have to help him to the bathroom. I brought him his computer so he could work but they had him flat on his back so impossible. He had lung cancer with 4 or 5 months to live. He left unable to walk, incontient ... read more

Awful communication. I Had surgery then got dumped into a room.. nothing was explained to me about my surgery. I had to ask questions and put the pieces together.. its day three and no one even told me how long my recovery time will be..

My dad was admitted to the hospital and they did amazing work to save his life. This review is for the process of replacing lost items during his stay, not for the care provided. While my father was admitted to this hospital his dentures were misplaced by the staff. After waiting more than 2 months for a response from the guest relations department we were advised that they are not willing to replace his dentures since they claim the dentures were left at his bedside, which is not true since they were left with the staff.
