** come out to service our heater and he was very kind and courteous. He was well versed in what he was doing and took extra care to make sure all my questions were addressed before leaving. He was also incredibly clean !

Just needed a shower handle and back plate removed and the water to the shower shut off. They came out, tried to get me to pay $1500 for services I didn't want. I said no. The plumber messed around claimed he couldn't remove the handle and back plate and that they could finance us for the $1500 service. Said no again so he charged us a $69 trip fee because no service was rendered and left. **************** was completely useless when I complained. I have been with Penguin for years, through multiple properties and cannot believe how I was treated by their plumbing department. I was given a quote for a sewer replacement that I was told in writing would be honored. They told me again at the time of scheduling they would honor the quote, while simultaneously removing items from the scope of work hoping I wouldn't notice! I have been with Penguin for 4 years and have a service plan with them. They always try to upsell instead of fixing the problem. They wanted to charge me $800 minus $200 for being on the service plan to install 4 heating elements on an electric water heater. $600 for an hour worth of work, are you serious? I then discovered that they didn't take the cover off properly and shorted out the unit because it squeezed the wire, so I had no hot water at all. They won't let me cancel without charging me.

Penguin Air responded to a call from me on July 9 2024 that my a/c had stopped working. they responded within about 2 hours, diagnosed the problem and needed parts, it was now about 8pm so could not get parts that night. Total parts and labor would be $1154.74 and i needed to pay $500.00 that night and they would get the parts and return next day. I gave the technican my credit card and he charged the $500.00 on it. I called because my ** stopped working but, came back up. The guy comes out, I told him the history of the air handler having extra water in it due to plugged up drain. I told him the last time I had to fix it for the ** company. Left came back checks the unit again and says Your ** is a little low on freon so, your unit has a leak.
