Just had a call from Peerless steakhouse in Johnson city, I had called to arrange an engagement dinner party for my daughter and her fiance and of course had called several places to get prices last night since my plans fell thru on what I had for their party. This guy calls me back just now and when I told him I had chose somewhere else he went ape crazy saying I was rude not to call and tell him. I owed him nothing, his manners were nothing short of an ameba.

I've heard this place had drastically gone down hill, I experienced it first hand Saturday, not only was the service lacking g but the food was horrendous. For the price , you expect quality, that's definitely not what my family and I got.

We had the same poor experience. Going in craving a steak like they used to serve years ago just to be given these little tiny slices of meat, which were supposed to be New York Strip. It wasn't even sirloin much less New York Strip. Not to mention a cold baked potato. The meat wasn't cooked right and the baked potato was so cold butter couldn't possibly melt. Our steaks are butcher cut right here at the restaurant. Sometimes what one person may call medium is not what another person would consider medium, however we know what each steak temperature cook should be, as we prepare many steaks each night. Have enjoyed the food at Peerless for over 50 years
Worst Mother's Day brunch ever. The food was all cold , no taste and bad service. The ran out of desserts . Will never go back
